On the strength of the experience gained in the 1960s/’70s by touring the many factories of the world as an operator of a well-known engineering company in Vigevano, Gianfranco Biffignandi sensed that there was a big space to be filled with a technology that was innovative for those times.
Thus BIBO was born in 1974, the first in Italy and the very first in the world to produce and design machines exclusively for the leather goods sector, moving from the first manual machines for dyeing, shearing, gluing and die-cutting to the current fully automatic ones.
